If one verb follows another verb, the second verb can be in different forms::

I want to be rich

You must be careful

I dislike being late.

Sometimes the verb can be in different forms, and sometimes these can have the same - or different - meanings!
Almost the same meanings: Different meanings:
I like to swim
I like swimming.		 I remember meeting her.
I remembered to ring her.

You see the Infinitive sometimes with 'to' and sometimes without.
