We are now delighted to be able to offer healing breaks and retreats here with accommodation in the beautifully converted barn apartment (see The Barn Apartment). These are aimed at individuals or couples who would like to offer themselves an invaluable healing opportunity in a uniquely special place with minimum hassle. We are able to accommodate larger groups at certain times, please contact us.
The environment here is healing in itself and getting away from your everyday
life and spending time being here will have its effect. The Natural
Spiritual Healing which you can also receive is an additional gentle
but limitlessly powerful way to open yourself to healing on all levels.
Combine this with the opportunities to practise Transformation Hatha Yoga
and to learn Pure :Meditation Foundation, to live alongside the majestic
Pyrenees and, if you wish, to experience the wonder and mystery of Lourdes
and you can begin to see what a glorious treat you will be giving your
being.
How does it work?
The breaks are flexible but usually run for between 3 and 5 days. We will discuss your individual needs and preferences when arranging your break or retreat.
If you fly to Pau (25 minutes from us) or to Lourdes (40 minutes) we can usually arrange to collect you from the airport - please ask on booking. Otherwise you can hire a car from the airport (Pau, Lourdes, Biarritz or Toulouse are the closest) or take a train.
On arrival in The Barn Apartment you will find refreshments including
water, teas and fruit. We will happily shop for your other provisions
if you don't have transport (small supplement). All linen, including towels,
is provided, as are basics such as loo roll, oil, sugar etc.
If you are
having healing then there will be at least one consultation and healing
session. We can also provide introductory meditation sessions (Pure
Meditation Foundation classes) and individual or group yoga classes
(Transformational Hatha Yoga) to suit your experience as well as Coaching
sessions (Progressive Counselling). These sessions are provided through
our non-profit making association (Yogananda Association) and will be
charged for separately once you are here. These, and any other planned
visits, will be timetabled in to your stay and the rest of your time will
be your own to enjoy the surroundings, walk in the woods, wander up the
lane to see the mountains, read, relax and nourish yourself on all levels.
Cost
We aim to keep the cost reasonable in order to make this wonderful healing opportunity as widely available as possible. Cost will obviously vary greatly depending on the length of your stay and your individual requirements. The prices for the accommodation only start from £190 for one person for three nights (£225 for 2 people). Please note that there is sometimes a seasonal supplement for heating/logs. There will be extra charges should you require shopping services or a trip to Lourdes etc.
Healing, Counselling, Yoga or Meditation sessions are currently priced at 34€ for the initial session and 25€ for subsequent sessions.

Flights
There are flights all year from London City Airport with CityJet direct to Pau and during the summer months you can fly with Flybe from Southampton Airport direct to Pau- these flights offer a different mix of low-cost and convenience which you can look into. Ryanair flies direct to Lourdes all year round, Easyjet direct to Toulouse. In the summer months there is a good link from Gatwick to Biarritz with Easyjet or from Stansted to Biarritz with Ryanair. There is also the possibility of flying to Paris and getting an Air France flight direct to Pau. These are just some of the possibilities.

Prices vary considerably depending on the season, notice period and day of the week but can be extremely reasonable. Please remember to mention if you may require help with airport pick-up or drop-off.
Transport from Toulouse and Biarritz is not offered but car hire is readily available. The drives are straightforward, taking just over two hours and one hour respectively. There are also train links.
